The Youth Program has
been designed to educate children about financial affairs through
exposure to products and services available at the Credit Union. To
participate in the "Young Savers Program" you must be under the age
of 18, related to a current member and purchase a junior membership
share. Saving is a learned behavior and we see children having
access to financial products as tools for teaching money management
and financial responsibility. Youth members have access to most
Credit Union accounts and services.
Highlights of Youth Accounts include:
A reduced share capital requirement of ten ($10) dollars and access
to:
Savings accounts
Short and long term
GICs
RRSPs
Automated Teller
Machine / Point of Sale access card (with parental consent)
